| The three planes shown on this page are among the most significant in the development of RC Combat. With the exception of the Bat Trick by Hattrick RC the planes are no longer in production. I have owned and flown at least four of each of these planes and learned a lot from them. I hope you enjoy this stroll down memory lane. |

| The Battle Floyd shown on the top right was the brain child of early RC Combat flier Joe Gieger. It was inexpensive, easy to build and flew very well. Many combat pilots cut their teeth on a Battle Floyd. Click on the photo to go to the article. |

| The BAT Trick has had more influence on RC Combat designs than any other single plane. It was the first to have 60" span, high aspect ratio wings, the first to use a wiffle ball bat for a fuselage, it sported coro-plast tail feathers, and was only $30 for a very complete kit. Mike "Dr. Evil" Fredricks is the designer of the Bat Trick and during its production run close to 1,000 kits were sold and shipped worldwide |
