| Mike "Dr. Evil" Fredricks, of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin has for many years been one of the most prolific designers, and consistent manufacturers of excellent flying, affordable RC Glow combat designs. Now the good Dr. Evil is turning his attention to manufacturing a line of outstanding, easy to build eCombat fighters. In his own words.... "Dear Lou, I've been making some electric planes CNC foam cutter. So far I've done the P51, P40, and AT6. They are designed to be similar to the GWS planes, but are slightly heavier and much tougher. I cut the profile and a hatch on the top with the battery compartment cut in. You just glue a bit of the side pieces back in to make the battery compartment. Mine are set up for a stick mount type motor. The slot for the stick is pre-cut also and you glue some of the foam back in to set the stick in place. So far I've done a P-51, AT6 and a P40. Flying mine with a Himax outrunner motor. On three cells it is really fast and fun to fly. Not yet using it for combat though."
