A simple way to fill bladder Tanks
Fueling a pressure bladder fuel
system can be made easy with
the pressure pumping system
shown on the right.

The system uses 1/16" ID latex
tubing, two 1/8" ID one-way
valves, and a Tee fitting with
1/8" OD barbed end fittings.

All parts are available on line
from
McMaster Carr (catalog
pages 97 & 112) for less than
$10.

As the plunger of the syringe is
pulled out fuel is drawn from
the fuel jug.  It can flow into the
syringe through the one way
valve but not back.  The one
way valve only lets fuel come
into the syringe.  It shuts when
pressure is push back to it.

When the plunger of the syringe
is shoved forward it cannot flow
back into the fuel jug as the left
one way valve prevents it.
Therefore fuel is forced through
the right side one way valve into
the bladder.  It can not come
back as the valve closes.

To put two more ounces into
the bladder simply repeat the
process.
All components shown (except syringe) are availble on line from McMaster- Carr.
